Physical therapy is provided to patients because children with life-threatening diseases like cancer may develop developmental, cognitive or physical impairments as a result of their illnesses and their treatments.
Parents who bring their children to St. Jude often leave home in a hurry and forget to pack day-to-day necessities such as shampoos, razors, deodorant, toothbrushes and lotion. At Tri Delta Place, our short-term housing facility, parents can obtain these essentials free of charge.

(St.Jude) has agreed to pay $27 million to settle allegations under the False Claims Act that, between November 2014 and October 2016, it knowingly sold defective heart devices to health care facilities that, in turn, implanted the devices into patients insured by federal health care programs.
If there's one hotel synonymous with the Met Gala, it's The Mark. The five-star hotel located on New York City's Upper East Side draws a slew of stars to its suites to primp and prep for the biggest night in fashion held on the first Monday in May in each year.

When you think of a gala, you probably imagine a formal, regal event. This might mean a black-tie dress code, catered dinner, live band, and speeches or presentations on the guest (or cause) of honor. Sometimes, though, galas can also describe a casual social outing or festival with a large guest list.
Use breaks in the action to walk around the room and socialize with people not at your table. Be aware that not everyone wants to discuss business at a social event. Enter conversations tactfully, and don't monopolize anyone's time. A firm handshake and a smile can go a long way.
The guest list, since 1995, has been carefully presided over by Vogue editor Anna Wintour and her team, with only around 600 people making the list each year.
While she is actively involved in fundraising and awareness efforts for the hospital, it is important to note that she does not receive a salary or payment from St.Jude's [1]. Instead, Marlo Thomas dedicates her time and efforts to support the hospital's mission of providing free medical care to children with cancer.
